DAT FACE haha
The Cure Tee: Vintage
Plaid Shirt: H&M
Finally I'm in the new apartment with a normal wifi connection :D I was so tired of always going on a Starbucks cafè to just post a look.. but now I can finally make some other kind of posts, like "Style Inspirations" and thing like that!
I wanted to start this post answering to a girl with an account named "LoveLuannaPerez" who wrote a funny comment on my instagram (pollyalba), she said "why are you copying Luanna Perez? Get your own personality". Well, I actually love her style and get a lot of inspiration from her, but I also take inspiration from lots of other girls haha you know, that's how fashion and its world goes! I did my hair this way because I loved it on me and wanted to do something special, I thought people were free to do what they want.
Amyway, I took some photos outside after aaaall this time, I forgot how much I love these kind of photos. I were in FriedrichStrasse and it was funny to do a photoshoot with people looking at me, and even embarassing! The hat and my new shorts are both from Forever21, I didn't love some shorts that much.. they really fit perfectly on me, and if you follow me, you may know hao much I hate pants/shorts! This was love at the first sight. I used under my The Cure tee the mesh top I had in my last post, and I transformed it in a less girly top(actually, that's how I wanted to wear it from the beginning).
I miss my wardrobe so bad, I haven't obviously all my clothes with me here and the weather is getting colder so fast. I really need to buy sweaters and eventually even a long parka because I want to wear my skirts and don't want them to fly because of the wind. Oh and also, lots of tights.. maybe some fishnet tights, just to try, I've never wear them! The top I'm wearing is also from the site where I got my dress with the mesh details, but this one has a hearted neckline this time. Since I don't want to be girly every time of my life, I really think I could use this top in a different way.. I could use the mesh sleeves putting over it maybe a band tee or something like that, just to rock the outfit a bit!
I thought the floral skirt from H&M (I bought it years ago) was meant to be with the top, so here's the combo. I'm writing in a Starbucks Cafe and close to me there's a man who is reading nearly everything so haha yeah, that's enough for today :D
I transformed the bad light of the photos into a cool light (I guess) with the app Vsco-Cam, I'm addicted to it. Berlin is really bringing me into this 90's vibe I already had when I was in Italy, but that now I can finally make more personal with all these shops I have around. Here no one cares of what you're wearing or what you look like, well except some tourists.. or even better, some italian tourist haha Yesterday I felt "different" for the first time here, and this because of an italian family who was looking at me like I killed someone, I thought they were joking. Don't really know why, maybe they didn't like my clothes or hair, or just me.. but I went out of the train and waited for the train after, it was too much. Anyway, the result of my 90's vibe came out even with this dress, it's one of the best and most simple things I've bought! It was 9 euro or something more, from Forever21, and it's so comfy I could wear it even to sleep. The title is "Die Antwoord" because this band is one of those bands I'm listening to so much at the moment.. and with them also Alt-J, First Aid Kit and Grimes as always.
Dress: Tomtop *
Daaamn, my hair look awful in these photos, they're not that yellow but there were a really bad light.. doesn't matter, you should focus on the dress!
I went into the "mesh world" just recently, I know it's late, so that's why I got this pretty dress. Actually, the site says "heart neckline" but it has just a normal neckline, and I think it's much better this way (sometimes heart necklines seems too girly to me haha). I'm not always sure about the sizes when I want to buy or get something in asian sites, sometimes I ask for an M and I receive an XS, but I wanted to be sure with this one so I chose the size L and it fits me perfectly (you can find it HERE). When I went shopping (these two days) and I saw this cute backpack I suddenly thought that it would have been perfect paired with this dress.. obviously I didn't buy it only for that haha It reminds me of something back in the 60's, like those "color block" dresses, and it was only 5 euros, isn't it so cool?! Primark should be in Italy too!
I'm sitting on a chair in a Starbucks and I'm writing this post here because my internet connection in my german apartment it's everything but fast. That's why I haven't made a look in ages.. but fortunately the WiFi is the only bad thing of the house, really it has a great design, everything by Ikea actually. If you follow me on Instagram (search Pollyalba), you'll know that I moved to Berlin recently, and I'm loving every single place of this city. I already feel it like "mine", and I'm not saying it just because of all the shops I can find here haha I even love taking the U-bahn or the S-Bahn, it's so funny to see other people that don't know where to look when they're sitting next to other people.
Talking about the look, it's pretty simple and it's just what I like to wear here (if it's possible with the weather, it changes a lot)! I guess I'll start coming to Starbucks anytime I'll need to post something on the blog, so loooots of iced tea for polly
